2008
This was one cruise that really had it
all:
* A fantastic itinerary that started in Budapest and ended
in Nuremburg
* A first class 400 foot luxury river vessel with excellent
meals and accommodations
* And you never had to wear clothes on board
unless you wanted to
How can you beat that! The sun deck of our luxury
vessel, the Viking Europe, ran the length of the ship and was filled with deck
loungers, perfect for tanning au natural. The fact that you were tanning in the
all together while sailing down the romantic Danube made it just that much more
fun. The scenery was just incredible. There were even locals doing their own
form of au natural tanning on the river banks-this was Europe after all.
While in port one did have to be a bit discreet when running around
the ship in the all together but while on the river, there was never a problem.
Couples would be relaxing naked in the ship’s library area as well as in
the main lounge both before and after dinner. There was always the group from
Desert Sun playing naked Scrabble in the ship’s library area for hours on
end. When the weather was cool, one could always slip on one of the bath robes
thoughtfully placed in your room. A few nights we wore only the robes to
dinner. After dinner entertainment in the ship’s lounge and bar area was
also clothing optional and the robes would start falling off as one warmed up
after a few rounds on the dance floor.
The crew of the Viking Europe
was friendly and most accommodating. They often told us during the cruise that
this was the most fun group they have ever hosted on the ship
We have
been nudists for many years now and have made so many friends in the naturist
community. For some reason it is just easier to strike up a friendship with a
naked someone you have just met for the first time. It was the same this trip.
The people were wonderful and we plan to keep up with a number of people we met
on the cruise.
We have already told Castaways to sign us up for the
next cruise now planned for 2010.

cool, wet weather during the "08 cruise, we found that most passengers still
had a wonderful time. The 2010 cruise will be much further South (translate:
likely warmer and dryer) and nudity is even more accepted in France than in
Germany. |
